No, you can catch it even when she is asymptomatic. When you can not see the sores, you are still contagious. and ye, she can transmit the disease with oral sex at any time as well.
Most of the general population has been exposed to HSV…must just do not show symptoms. It is a virus that some bodies can fight and some can not. Some are carriers and some just can’t get it.
You risk getting it whether or not the person is having an outbreak,another words,all the time she can transmit it to you!
Oh My gosh–that girl is NOT worth getting Herpes. She CAN give you herpes in the mouth (whether she’s outbreaking or not), and on the genitals if you have oral and regular sex–that’s because you condoms do not protect you from herpes since its transmitted skin-to-skin. Herpes is a virus that lives in saliva, and it doesnt matter if she’s outbreaking–she can still give it to you..Listen, I’ll talk to you as if you were my little brother–leave that girl alone. Is she worth having herpes?? I mean, if she’s some billionare chick who’s gonna give you a chunk of her forune–I could see you still wanting to be with her. But c’mon. Move on.
(I know this may sound so corny–but why dont you save yourself until youre ready to get married. I mean–I am, if for no other reason than I dont want some damn STD. (Well, its your llife- but dont be kissing girls until you’ve known them and see what kind of diseases they have, use condoms, remember that 70% of Americans have STD’s)
